Survivor Care

Every survivor is unique, so Anew offers multiple models of care along with optional aftercare. Our multidisciplinary approach makes us different from shelters, halfway houses, and drug treatment facilities.

Four Strategic Phases

Complex trauma of sex trafficking requires a comprehensive, sustainable approach to care. Our programs are designed to be 18 to 24 months long with four intentional and strategic phases.

As survivors move through these phases, they are offered a variety of resources and opportunities free of charge to support them in reaching their goals, including:

  • Trauma-Centered Therapy
  • Medical and Dental Care
  • Sobriety Support
  • Court Advocacy and Legal Support
  • Individualized Case Management
  • Life Skill Development and Wellness Coaching

Residential Program

At our safe home, survivors journey through the four strategic phases with the support of caring staff 24 hours a day, as well as opportunities to participate in a multitude of therapeutic contexts. Rather than an emergency shelter or crisis center, the Residential Program is a long-term solution for those who are looking for a fresh start. Residents are expected to maintain sobriety, engage with the opportunities and services available to them, and demonstrate effort toward reaching their goals.

Non-Residential Program

The Non-Residential program is our outpatient, long-term, restorative care solution for women who are seeking to reclaim their lives. This option is best for those who already have safe housing, have done some previous program work, or for some reason cannot commit to long-term residential care. Participants are expected to be committed to sobriety, attend scheduled appointments and meetings, and demonstrate effort toward reaching their goals.

Community Participation

Community Participation is a third option for survivors who have graduated from one of our other programs, are interested in getting to know us better before committing to one of our other programs, or who only need limited support and a full program would not be appropriate for their needs. There are no requirements of participants in this program; it is open and accessible to all survivors.
